Niech zyja wakacje!!! To juz nasz ostatni dzien w Dubaju i tak jak obiecalismy przed wyjazdem przygotowalismy krotka relacje i kilka zdjec z pobytu tutaj. Rozsiadzcie sie wiec wygodnie, zapraszamy do obejrzenia naszej galerii.
Julia i Leszek dobrze o nas zadbali. Dostalismy liste miejsc wartych zobaczenia i w ciagu tygodnia zdolalismy obejrzec wiekszosc tutejszych atrakcji. Pierwszego dnia wybralismy sie na BIG Bus Tour, czyli autobus ktory wozi turystow po calym miescie i zatrzymuje sie przy najwiekszych atrakcjach. Mozna wysiasc i wsiasc na dowolnym przystanku. Wyruszylismy spod Dubai Mall , centrum handlowego w ktorym znajduje sie sztuczny stok narciarski, gdzie przez caly rok utrzymuje sie temperature -4 stopnie. Po drodze widzielismy Burj Dubaj, obecnie najwyzszy budynek na swiecie [818m]. Jest jeszcze nie ukonczony i byc moze bedzie wyzszy ?! Ostatnim przystankiem bylo Dubai Museum w ktorym zapoznalismy sie z historia miasta i regionu. Wieczorem przeprawilismy sie barka przez Dubai Creek na druga strone starego miasta. Centrum zamieszkuja dzisiaj glownie Hindusi a populacja arabska przeniosla sie do nadmorskich willi i nowo budowanego nowoczesnego miasta. W starym centrum pelno jest sklepikow sprzedajacych mydlo i powido, a wszedobylscy sprzedawcy staraja sie za wszelka cene wcisnac turystom „markowe” zegarki i torebki. Wszystko to odbywa sie przy akompaniamencie spiewu z meczetow.
W ciagu kolejnych dni:
· zwiedzilismy akwarium w hotelu Atalantis, ktory stoi na Jumeirah Palm, sztucznie usypanej wyspie w ksztalcie palmy. Palma jest ogromna i tak naprawde jej ksztalt mozna rozpoznac z powietrza, podobno widac ja takze z kosmosu.
· podziwialismy 5+ gwiazdkowy hotel Burj Al Arab w ksztalcie zagla, znany tu jako 7 gwiazdkowy z ladowiskiem helikoptera i kortami tenisowymi na szczycie.
· Przechadzalismy sie po Madinath Jumeirah Souk,niedawno wybudowanym targu z pamiatkami restauracjami i hotelem. Calosc zalozenia jest otoczona woda i wszystko przypomina mala Wenecje.
· Spacerowalismy po plazy podziwiajac szmaragdowe morze...

Dubai ma duzo zieleni, by powstrzymac pustynie, kazdego dnia zuzywa sie tu ogromne ilosci wody. Chcac zobaczyc jak tu bylo bez wody wybralismy sie na pustynne safari jeepem. Jazda bialym Landcruiserem z napedem na 4 kola robi wrazenie! W przerwach na zlapanie oddechu mozna bylo pokarmic wielblady, podziwiac zachod slonca, a na koniec sprobowac arabskiej kuchni w zaaranzowanej wiosce beduinskiej.

Podsumowujac – Dubaj jest warty odwiedzenia i oferuje wiele atrakcji. Dla nas bedzie to miejsce spotkania kultur arabskiej i hinduskiej w latwym do przyjecia „europeskim wydaniu”. To miasto w ktorym przepych, luksusowe samochody, markowe sklepy i nowoczesne budynki zderzaja sie ze swiatem ciezko pracujacych robotnikow. Podzial spoleczny jest wyrazny, jednak kazdy jest tu z wyboru.Duza atrakcja bylo zobaczyc Arabow w tradycyjnych stojach, uslyszec spiew dobiegajacy z meczetow, sprobowac lokalnego jedzienia, a wszystko to przy idealnej o tej porze roku temperaturze.

Yupieeeee! So here we are in Dubai! It's our last day here and we've picked few shots for you as promised. So sit back, relax and join us in our trip!

Our friends Julia & Leszek have taken a very good care of us. We got few tips for what to visit and during a week managed to see most all of the attractions of the city.
First day after a morning swim we went for a "BIG Bus Tour". It's a great way to know the city, the bus went along numerous attractions of Dubai doing stops on the way so we were able to hop on and off anytime we wanted. We started at the Dubai Mall with the artificial ski slope inside :). Than we saw the construction site of very impressive Burj Dubai, currently the highest building in the world - 818 m. Then the bus brought us to our last stop, the Dubai Museum where we were able to see a bit of city history and its incredible development for over the last years. In the evening the boat trip across Dubai Creek brought us to the old part of the city inhabited now mostly by Hindi. For a moment we had an impression that almost everyone wants to sell us "branded" watches, bags and so on... but after a while we got used to it. The old part of the city is much different to what we use to think when saying: Dubai. Never ending rows of small shops with people selling almost everything, all this accompanied by singing from mosques.

Over next days we saw:
· Atlantis Aquarium in the Atlantis Hotel on the top of Jumeirah Palm - famous man made island in the shape of a palm tree. You don't realize its shape when you're on it, but it's visible from air and even from space!
· 5+ star Hotel Burj Al Arab "sail" shaped building - known as a 7 star here ;) - with Federer's favourte tennis court on the top
· Madinath Jumeirah Souk, local market newly build with restaurants and cafe bars done a bit like a small Venice
· Sandy beaches and emerald color see...
Dubai is very green, they use huge amount of water to stop the desert taking its tooll. It's warm, but not too hot now.
Being so close to the desert, we could not miss the opportunity to see it and went for Jeep Safari. The ride in big, white Land Cruisers over the orange dunes was very exciting, especially for someone who never went off rode in the 4x4 weal drive. There was a couple of stops to see the camel breeding farm, watch the sunset and for a traditional barbecue at the end.

Dubai is a very interesting place to see - so different Arabic culture, people originally dressed, mosques, tasty food, and recently also very tall buildings. The construction work here goes on even during the nighttime and there's a constant machine roar in the background.
As the temperatures here hits almost 50C during the summer, winter time with around 20-25C was a perfect moment for a visit.
And of course Dubai is a shopper’s paradise we could not resist and got 2 pairs of flip-flops for half the price :)
